Very comfortable and pleasant, characterful accommodation. Quiet. Attractive walks right along the river directly across the street. Very responsive manager/owner. We were able to check in several hours ahead of time and our room was upgraded at no extra charge. Victoria is very expensive and Lipton Place provided very good value for money. Bus stop half a block down takes you right into Victoria. Taxi to the airport costs a bit less than from downtown Victoria. The trade‑off is that you are a little out from the town centre and it's about a 25‑minute walk to the nearest independent coffee shop or restaurant
