“2 night stay was good, no good window view to enjoy despite its in the central. I won’t prefer to rebook again.”
The location is fine, but the facilities match the price; room service was not available, and when I asked the reception about replacing a towel or cleaning the room, a staff member said, “It’s a pub not a hotel and they don’t have a housekeeper.” It is by no means a 1‑star property at best.
“Over all good. But could be better with cleaning”
The hotel sits right in the CBD and blocks out road noise nicely, but the cups and glasses weren't cleaned or replaced daily; they were just rinsed with water.
The only real selling point is the location, but the room felt very basic and expensive, and the downstairs restaurant is loud.
“Great place for an overnight stay central to the city, but factor in car-parking costs when you book.”
The place was clean and the location fantastic, but there is no parking nearby, so we had to use a car park a couple of blocks away. This was fine for a one‑night stay, but for longer stays, lugging bags and paying for parking for three days in a commercial car park was an unexpected cost.
Another comfy night at this no-frills, well‑kept pub in Hobart’s CBD.
