Breakfast was excellent, and the location is amazing. In the evening the room temperature was quite high, which was a bit uncomfortable. Even in the Tatras, you have to think about the climate gradually.
The beautiful, quiet green surroundings are lovely, and you can enjoy the terrace over the water. In the bedroom there should be more outlets, and a fridge would be a plus on hot summer days. For guests from far abroad, an English translation with resort info would be handy. The reception helped us in English, which is a plus.
The terrace by the little lake was great, and you could even catch a trout and have it cooked for you; it’s close to the start of the walks. The rooms were small with steep ceilings, the reception staff didn’t speak English, there were no hair dryers in the rooms, and the dining service was mediocre with a poor value for money.
“Tatry są tak urokliwe, że na pewno jeszcze nie raz tam wrócimy :)”
The place is charming in the forest/mountain setting. The wooden cabins and hotel blend naturally with the surroundings: forest, mountains, a small lake, benches for rest. Everything is close yet each person can feel comfortable and free. There’s a large parking lot, a small playground for kids, a boat on the lake, and educational signs with tourist maps and mountain attractions. The complex is right on the main road, but that doesn’t matter because it’s surrounded by a dense spruce forest, and very few cars pass by. Many people ride bikes, so you can confidently bring your bike for a nice hike. Lots of trails. To reach the first big store you need to drive about 10‑15 minutes to a nearby town. A little closer is a small shop called “Potraviny,” stocked with everything you need for breakfast, dinner, or mountain trips—just about a 2‑3 minute drive from the resort, almost invisible from the road, hidden in the forest. I recommend it. In the own bathroom, the water drips over the tub (the faucet was poorly installed—very high). The tub could be longer, covering the whole wall width, to fill the gap under the slope, but that’s just a casual note. Maybe it’s not that I disliked it, but I would definitely create space for a billiard or ping‑pong table—an extra perk in my opinion.
Breakfast tasted good and varied 👍, but the room lacked a fridge.
