The staff were generally friendly and Jeffrey was especially helpful. The hotel offered basic accommodation with no room safes or storage for clothes and belongings. Rooms were on the first floor up steep stairs with no lift. The location was on a noisy main road and there were building works on a major extension during the day. Complimentary breakfast was limited and a charge was made for coffee. Food was available only for main courses, with no dessert or even ice cream. There was no running water on one occasion, but this was quickly sorted and probably related to the building works.
