The lodge was spotless and tidy, surpassing what we had imagined, and there were no issues at all.
Breakfast was decent and the chef was friendly; the owner was lovely and very helpful. The room, however, was small, freezing, and didn’t match the photos, though extra blankets were supplied.

The room was lovely and spacious, the breakfast was great, and the check‑in was friendly. The pillows were too high and stiff; a medium or small size would have been better, especially for single beds to suit kids’ necks.
