We were really disappointed when we found out that we had to sign an additional contract after booking, which wasn't mentioned in the description. We wanted to cancel the booking, but the host refused and just pointed us to their terms and conditions. It would be really helpful if they mentioned the extra contract in the description and allowed for cancellations through the booking platform.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of things, but unfortunately, the property itself was looking a bit worse for wear. It was a shame, because with a bit of TLC, it could be a real gem.

I was thoroughly charmed by the room - it was cute, spacious, and had some lovely decorating touches that really made it feel like home. The bathroom was huge, the bed and blankets were super comfy, and the coffee and tea provided was a nice touch. Plus, the owner was great to communicate with, making check-in a breeze. If I had one quibble, it would be that the parking situation could be a bit clearer for guests who might need a bit more guidance.

We were really looking forward to a kitchenette, but what we got was a mini-fridge with a microwave on top and a sink in the bathroom to wash dishes. It was a bit of a letdown, especially when we realized the fridge wasn't even clean. The storage situation for our bikes was also a non-starter, and we ended up with no dedicated outdoor space. The TV was linked to Roku, but we didn't have any accounts, so we were stuck with practically no TV. Overall, we felt like we overpaid for what we got.
