“Mały apartament bez możliwości wyżywienia polecany na kilkudniowe zwiedzanie pięknego Noto i okolicy”
The room with a bathroom was on the ground floor, in the center of Noto, a few minutes’ walk from the old town and a few minutes by car to nice beaches. It was just right for two people, with two soft mattresses on a shared sheet. A wardrobe, a tiny low coffee table, one chair and a bench were also in the room. The bedroom had clean linens, extra blankets, good Wi‑Fi, TV and air‑conditioning. The bathroom was nice and fully equipped with towels, soap, toilet paper and a hair dryer. A beach umbrella was available. The owner was very courteous and helpful – he waited for us in the evening, helped park our car on a neighboring street (free parking), and the next day delivered tea mugs at our request. Check‑out was self‑service and hassle‑free. Navigation misleads: you actually need to turn off the main street Via Angelo Cavarra straight into Via Etna/Vico Nea to reach the place. The shared kitchen only had a fridge and an electric kettle that couldn’t be plugged in because the cable was too short. There was no table or chairs to eat a simple breakfast, nor basic dishes like plates, cups and cutlery. The property is called “B&B” but it offers no breakfasts and doesn’t allow you to eat your own breakfast on site. The balcony shown in the photos was actually very small, located over the street right above cars, not overlooking the garden. The room had no garden access. The shower water stayed cold for a very long time – you had to wait several minutes for hot water, wasting a lot of water.
