The hotel sits just a step off the main road, making it very quiet. A supermarket is right in front, which is convenient, and the Iidabashi area has a convenience store and a 100‑yen shop for quick errands. At check‑in, a staff member was attending a group while we were waiting in another group, and nothing was said about the delay; we had to wait a long time before another staff member was called. When I went to the front desk for towels, the place was empty, so I tried ringing the bell, but a staff member in the dark suddenly spoke to me, which startled me because I thought no one was there. He was also working on something else at that moment, and there was no clear front desk presence.
