A little gem of a hotel. Located in the heritage area yet quiet. The room was smallish but absolutely fine for 2 people. The period features were charming. Teh Teh (?) at reception was always helpful and smiley. The owner kept in touch with regular texts to check everything was ok and even tell us about local events, which was appreciated. Nothing

The location was fine, but our room wasn’t ready at 3 am; they eventually fixed it by postponing the plumber’s visit. The décor could be improved – the walls are peeling and look shabby.

The place sits in a great spot inside a colonial house, and we arrived in the early hours after our flight and were taken care of nicely. The washer‑dryer combo proved very handy and the cost was practically nothing, though the rooms could use some upkeep, especially the walls.

Everything was flawless; the staff were constantly friendly and helped us with numerous requests. The property is well‑maintained, spotless, and perfectly placed for sightseeing, with a washing machine, water dispenser and a coffee station available. A wonderful stay with no complaints at all.
