We were woken every night by street noises: drums, stray dogs… Hot water was only available at certain times.

The place is in a great spot, but the room I got was smaller than the photos showed and the pool water felt a bit dirty.

The rooftop was lovely and the staff were very helpful, but you need a TukTuk to get to the hotel.

Breakfast and meals were fine. The room was great—clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with painted walls, a very comfortable bed, and even a TV. It felt very welcoming. The view is spectacular if you’re lucky and look toward the lake; rooms that open onto the street don’t have a nice view. The air conditioner smelled bad, so we were allowed to change rooms immediately. The laundry service is quite expensive.
