The location was stunning, the bed was incredibly comfortable, every detail was considered, and the host was just lovely, though it’s only a holiday home so I can’t move in permanently.

The cabin sat on a quiet lane surrounded by farms, and the small touches like beautiful soaps and fresh farm produce made it feel truly luxurious; it was cosy and quiet, exactly what you’d want from this type of stay. The only drawback was that it was a driving distance from most amenities, but that’s to be expected in the countryside.

SLOE offers a perfect escape from the city’s hustle, a genuinely wonderful and simple space with stunning views and all the essentials to unwind. Its location is ideal for exploring the area, and the local village offers great food—Post is a must‑visit with excellent food and lovely staff, and the pizza from the Black Pig is delicious (just order ahead, we were lucky). Yvonne was welcoming and attentive to every question, and the farm produce added a gorgeous touch. Reading the newspaper was a brilliant idea! I can’t recommend it enough; the name really fits. We haven’t stopped talking about it since our March stay. 5 out of 5 sunrise.

Everything! The accommodation is finished to such a high standard and feels really luxurious. We especially loved the outdoor bath – it was beautiful and such a relaxing experience. The little touches made a huge difference, from the curated Spotify playlist to the delicious local produce for breakfast. Even the toilet was next level, with a heated seat and self-cleaning features which just added to the overall experience! The location is perfect for exploring, and visiting Puzzlewood was a real highlight – such a unique and magical place. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail. We’ll definitely be coming back!. Nothing at all – everything was spot on. If we had to suggest one small addition, a fire pit outside would make it even more perfect, especially for relaxing in the evenings
