We were greeted warmly when we got there, and the outdoor area was set up with seating and a fire pit that felt very inviting. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was a DIY affair using the kitchen’s supplies – the homemade raspberry jam was a real highlight.

This place oozes charm, with top‑notch facilities and lots of thoughtful touches, and the hosts went out of their way to show us the garden and their animals. We prepared our own breakfast, which was more than enough, and enjoyed it in the garden pavilion. Its spot near the many waterfalls of Wells Gray Provincial Park was perfect – we definitely should have booked more than one night.

The location couldn't be better – just a short walk to waterfalls and a nice restaurant, yet the setting was surprisingly peaceful, with great beds and fresh ingredients for a breakfast that included homemade cake and bread. The only downside was the limited luggage space, which made it tricky for a family on a road trip to keep everything organized.
