The person who checked me in was very polite, attentive, and ensured my special request was fulfilled; the cleaning staff were also very kind. There was no TV channel guide, no clock, and no way to connect directly to the front desk.

The staff were very friendly, and checking in was quick and hassle‑free. The room itself was tidy, and I actually enjoyed the coffee they offered. On the downside, there was no local Fox network, so I couldn’t catch the USA‑Belgium World Cup match, which was the main reason I booked this place. I also stubbed my toe on a step in the bathroom, and the middle table in the room was wobbly.

There was no positive aspect to mention. The service was poor, the room was infested with bugs and utterly filthy, and the bed was the noisiest and most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on.
