“Ce Monsieur va empocher la somme de 73€ en déduisant la commission de booking alors que nous n’y avons pas passé la nuit”
The pictures on the site don’t match the place at all: there’s no shade around the outdoor table because no parasols, the pool is out of service, the grass isn’t maintained and there’s no mower, the steps leading to the guesthouse are covered with wild mint plants that spread everywhere, and two large hanging hooks on the staircase steps could hurt your feet. Inside the room, flies are everywhere, a wallpaper is peeling from spider webs hanging from the ceiling, the ceiling panel has holes letting flies in, the wall stones aren’t jointed or insulated. The room is unbearably hot with only a curtain for sun protection. The power outlets are non‑standard and too low, all of which is catastrophic for a price of €73. The owner’s attitude lacks empathy and listening, and he made no commercial gesture when we told him we were dissatisfied and wanted to leave for a refund. He hid behind booking and simply refused any negotiation. We stayed one hour on the premises and left looking for another accommodation. We were biking on La Régalante. This lack of professionalism in business is unacceptable.
“Delicious evening meal served by lovely couple”
Very rural. Spacious and clean
The large room and the countryside setting. The hosts were friendly. The scent of the ambient perfume is overpowering and persistent. The breakfast is low‑quality.
The quiet and the size of the room were great.
“Very quiet and peaceful.”
The room is lovely and big, but you have to duck or hit your head on the roof beams. Everything else is fine but a bit “tired”. Breakfast is exceptional (for France). The only downside is the shower: over a very dodgy bath, as soon as you step in the tub the base moves, bends and creaks as if you’re going to fall through the bottom. Very worrying.
