The room was roomy, comfy and pleasant; despite being close to the road, there was no noise, and the host was very friendly and welcoming – perfect for a one‑ or two‑night visit. The morning coffee supplied was a nice touch, though it’s surprising there are no locks to secure the room.

The value for money was great, Steven was very pleasant and they allow late arrivals. However, the heating was turned off during the day, so it stayed around 15 °C and the bathroom was hard to heat even with the boost mode; a small fan would have helped. I also heard a bit of noise all night.
