The bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep and the room was otherwise average. Unfortunately, the balcony was blocked off by a fence, so we never got to use it, and the floor was noticeably dirty when we arrived. Not the best value.

We were a bit nervous after reading earlier reviews, but the stay turned out to be great for our family of four. The room had two handy bathrooms, stayed fresh every time we left, and the location was perfect for trips to Grindewald, Brienz, and the Aares Gorge. When the airport misplaced one of our suitcases, Fedra rushed over with our luggage, and even helped sort out a parking ticket we got after grabbing the pass later. All in all, a smooth experience thanks to attentive staff.

The place is cheap for the area, which is a plus, but the heat inside was unbearable – even with two fans the room stayed hotter than outside and opening the doors did little to help. There was no permanent staff on site, so getting answers to questions took a while, and the fridge was dirty with a freezer that wouldn't make ice. The tiny kitchen was hard to ventilate, water pressure was weak and washing dishes took ages, and the shared parking spots were scarce.
