“Absolutely ridiculous, staff.”
We chose this place because it’s close to Allegiant Stadium, which is why we stayed there, but we’ll never return. Parking was simple, though I’m not used to paying for parking for a single night, and there isn’t a parking structure or anything like that. The staff were terrible. The gentleman at the front desk who tried to help us was awful—completely lost and unhelpful. I thought it was a joke or a spoof because he seemed to be videoing us. I had to whisper my name, ID, and that we were staying for one night. While checking us in, he got confused with his computer system and kept making excuses for the delay, claiming the internet was down. It was the first time he’d seen that, and the first time it happened that day; everyone before us had no trouble. He told us we could wait in their chairs or couches until the system was back up, but we needed to get to the football game. He stared at me with no options. I asked if I could leave my credit card with him so he could give us the key and let us go to the game; he refused. He eventually agreed to hold our bags until we returned after the game, but when we came back a few hours later, it still took forever to check us in. He claimed my credit card was the problem and that it was causing the internet issue—completely ridiculous. Then he launched into a tirade about how he thought my son and I were part of the FBI, claiming the FBI was already in the hotel and possibly staying there. I wanted to laugh but was frustrated when he said the FBI was there because President Trump would visit Las Vegas in a month or so. He then explained the FBI was staying at different hotels to check it out. C'mon!
