The location and view are exceptional; the breakfast was good but only continental, whereas a Scottish breakfast was expected, and the room is loft‑style and can be uncomfortable for tall people.

The host was very nice and the place was great; because we had to leave early, we even got a little something, and breakfast was also very good.

Maree has such a lovely personality and was welcoming and gracious, giving us great local tips for dinner and visits, especially on a rainy day; the property was charming and restful with great views, wonderful amenities, and artful décor, and I appreciated the towel warmers, makeup mirror, beverage station, and the lovely dog; breakfast was delicious, varied, healthy, and flavorful in a gorgeous setting that made for a serene meal, and Maree kindly brewed us a pot of decaf coffee after a rainy day; everything about the stay was perfect, and there was nothing I didn't like—exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the Isle, even though the rain made driving a bit challenging.

A cozy bed‑and‑breakfast with an incredibly helpful owner and gorgeous views from the breakfast room—caught otters one morning. No complaints, just the quirky stairs typical of an older Scottish house.
