“Beautifully traditional set in a lovely village location”
The building is a beautiful traditional structure full of original details and charm. The bed was very comfortable, and the roomy room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts there, all organic and prepared by Sara and her mother‑in‑law. Both days felt completely distinct yet equally fresh and tasty. We bought four jars of different organic jams made by Sara, which we sampled during our breakfasts. There are also other various organic products available for purchase in the communal kitchen area. Sara handed us a local village map and a map of the surrounding areas. We visited Riverland Bio Farm in the mountains and had an organic lunch there. It was stunning, and it was great to get so close to the animals. Highly recommended and only a 10 minute drive from Pera! We also went to the Cyprus Planetarium, which is a 4 minute drive from Pera. It was fascinating, and the most beautiful church was just outside it. Sara suggested a traditional taverna 10 minutes from Pera. The kleftiko with potatoes was one of the best we’ve had, accompanied by Greek salad, dolmades, green vegetables, hummus, tzatziki, olives, and bread. Sara was brilliant, very friendly, and gave us a lot of information on everything. Highly recommended accommodation and we would love to return!
“Excellent overall experience”
Everything about the trip turned out to be spot on; from check‑in to the little touches around the property, the experience felt genuinely excellent. I’d say it lived up to the hype without any hiccups.
“Perfect stay with wonderful hosts”
We fell in love with everything – the hosts were genuinely kind, the setting beautiful, and the family room both comfy and pretty. Meals were a highlight, featuring only local ingredients and presented like a fine‑dining experience, plus the halloumi workshop was a lot of fun. The tips they gave for sightseeing were spot‑on, and the surrounding village was simply gorgeous.
“Brilliant breakfast and relaxed vibe”
The morning spread was top‑notch – everything from fresh fruit to pastries was delicious. Pera Orinis greeted us with a smile and made the lounge feel really laid‑back, so we could just unwind after a busy day. All in all, a simple but pleasant stay.
“Friendly host and authentic village, but thirsty in the heat”
Sara was incredibly warm, sharing stories about her family and the area’s history while pointing us toward great hiking routes, and she even whipped up a tasty breakfast for us. The village itself felt totally authentic, complete with a charming local tavern. The only downside was that we visited during the peak of summer heat and there wasn’t any cool water source nearby to help us beat the temperature.
