Nothing was positive. Service was not great until Barb arrived. Barb took care of us, but the stay wasn’t the best. We had a better stay two years ago. There was no hot water, the room was dirty, it smelled, and the towels were not clean at all. I made several complaints and nothing was done for us right away.

The hotel sits very close to dining and has parking right in front of the door. However, there were no handrails in the bathroom and every time you moved the bed it squeaked loudly.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was close to a few restaurants and stores. The room stayed quiet at night, and locals mentioned that the on‑site Mexican restaurant is great, though I didn’t try it. The pool, located right by the main entrance, was atrocious—abandoned for a long time and turned into a swampy mosquito hatchery, like something you’d find on an abandoned property. Either bring it up to standards (or at least remove the public health hazard) or fill it in and pave it over. The pillows in the room were laughably tiny, half the size of a typical bed pillow.

The bathroom was extremely small; you had to stand over the toilet to close the door, and if you didn’t, the toilet holder was behind the door. There was also a little step up into the bathroom that I tripped over because it wasn’t visible unless you looked for it.
