The Starbucks was down, which is why I chose to book there.

The rooms were unclean, had an odor, chipping, and stained furniture. Housekeeping was poor—no one came all day to replace towels or empty trash as they do in other hotels. I requested the service and a woman came with a linen cart, but she used her bare hands to empty the bathroom trash full of unsanitary items and placed them directly on the clean linen cart, ignoring the trash bag. Yellow stains were behind the toilet upon arrival. I stayed here over ten years ago, and this was the worst experience I’ve had compared to any other hotel stay.

The spot is spot on—great location, easy parking, and you’re just a half‑block from the Sunday farmers market, plus everything else is within walking distance. The front desk staff were friendly, but I wished there’d been an info card in the room about housekeeping (none for the two nights I stayed) and wifi (I had to figure that out myself). Their computer system at the front desk was painfully slow and clunky; it took five minutes just to process a drink I bought at the snack bar. On the morning I checked out, I heard loud arguing in the hallway—apparently two housekeepers were bickering, which felt unprofessional. I also tried breakfast there, but the selection was limited and the person in front of me waited twenty minutes for a microwaved egg sandwich, so I left and went to Narrative Coffee a block away, which was a better choice.

The room was very clean and spacious! The only downside was that there weren’t enough disabled parking spaces.
