“Oldschool aber ok.”
The setting was quiet. The building feels old‑school and the food is completely overpriced.

The distance from the room to the bath, shop, and front desk was convenient. Every floor has a water‑maker. The breakfast was delicious. The view from the room of the green, well‑maintained golf course was long and beautiful. The bath was clean and the sauna was comfortable. I appreciated the shuttle bus because I came by train. The internet was poor. I wish they added at least one more shuttle. I wanted to enjoy the sauna, but I had to go to the changing room to get water, and a water station in the corridor from the tub to the sauna would have been nice.

The location was beautiful. The rooms were very outdated and not very clean.

Everything was perfect: the view was incredible and the staff were extremely hospitable. Nothing was wrong; it was all wonderful.

The surroundings were beautiful and tucked into the mountains. The stay was very disappointing: poor service, a hard-to-reach location, and a humiliating experience at the Prince Hotel. Problems started on arrival when I struggled to get clear info from the staff about the hotel shuttle schedule, even though it was listed on the website. The buffet restaurant was also let‑down; the staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful when we arrived without a reservation, making us feel like a nuisance. The worst incident happened at the onsen. I made an honest mistake with a tattoo rule I hadn’t seen. A tour guide confronted me, berated me, and forced me out in a humiliating way instead of explaining the policy calmly. I was brought to tears. I understand the hotel must enforce rules, but there’s a big difference between enforcing and humiliating. I expected a professional, compassionate approach from someone representing the business. The location was also very inconvenient; it’s far from public transport, so taxis become expensive quickly when visiting nearby attractions. Overall, my experience was far below what I expected from a Prince Hotel.
