Upon arrival we were immediately offered a loft room in a different building, supposedly more advantageous with breakfast access. I couldn’t judge it, because the booked room was never shown; the one we received was in the loft, without an elevator, in a building with a restaurant/pizzeria. Unfortunately, right after arrival we discovered the toilet was draining poorly. The staff appeared surprised, and we were offered to use the bathroom on the mezzanine floor, while a key to another, smaller room on the floor below was provided, where we could also climb stairs to the toilet. It can happen, but the presence of a waste‑cleaning bell right next to such a “randomly” non‑functional toilet raises doubts about whether it’s truly accidental. In the morning I called the manager, who seemed unaware of our issue but was willing to resolve it. I explained that I cared more about the principle and requested compensation, such as a free breakfast (570 Kč). Instead, I immediately received information about a booking cancellation on Booking and a query from Booking asking whether I had stayed. Surprisingly, a discount of about 300 Kč appeared on the bill, presumably matching the fee not paid to Booking. The host’s willingness to resolve things quietly for client satisfaction ended up unsatisfactory, leading to this negative review. The room was clean, breakfast adequate, and dinner at the pizzeria was also good (though it matches other reviews in the town “chcípl pes” and reflects the staff’s attitude). I am convinced the waste issue was not accidental, and the resolution and compensation were unsatisfactory, so I do not recommend this accommodation.
