Beautiful and very quiet location.
Nestled in the northern part of the Waldviertel, this place feels like a home away from home. The owners are warm and hardworking, and the breakfast is solid – eggs and a good omelette are a highlight. The facilities are decent too: a gym, a massage chair, and more. If you’re into cycling, it’s a solid base for trips into beautiful Czechia. I’ll definitely come back.
The sauna’s door to the outside was locked, which was a bit annoying.
“Ich komme wieder”
The room was lovely, with a balcony that gave a great view. Dogs were welcome, which was a big plus. The owner was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast spread was generous. We even tried the fresh trout from their own hatchery – it was delicious and available with half‑board. The wellness area was nice, with a free massage chair, and they served afternoon tea with fruit and cake.
The hosts were very friendly, the food was top‑notch, and everything else was just fine. We’ll be back for sure.
