The hotel's location and staff were top-notch, and the added benefit of Fast Passes really enhanced our experience.

“Maravilhosa!”
Everything was great, the room was good, the bathroom spacious, practically on City Walk. A mix of quality of life and comfort. We stayed in a room where the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, they swapped us to another room the same day. I would have preferred to arrive and stay in the same room.
The location is perfect for Universal parks. A unique hotel. Considering the price and premium Universal hotel: Leaves in the pool first thing in the morning at opening. No luggage or guest transfer service between Universal premium hotels when staying at another premium hotel on consecutive nights.
“Estás en Italia”
The location, rooms, and hotel theme made it feel like you were in Italy. If the boat that connects the hotel to the park is cancelled, the only way to get to the hotel is on foot, about 20 minutes, or by bus that you have to catch a little farther away and they run every 20 minutes.
“Excellent single night stay.”
The resort looks fantastic, has lots of facilities, great location, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great value when factoring in express passes. Cleaners repeatedly knocked on our door hours before check‑out time.
“Emplacement Idéal pour les parcs UNIVERSAL”
The location was fantastic compared to Universal Park and Islands of Adventure: a free 10‑minute boat taxi that runs every 20 minutes right in front of the hotel. We chose the Club Lounge Portofino with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s useful for saving money on food, which is very expensive around the parks, but the buffet isn’t very diverse and the portions are small, especially in the evening. Make sure to arrive at 17:00 sharp, because by 17:30 there are almost no main dishes left on the buffet. The only issue over our 7 nights was a single unpleasant receptionist; I won’t name her, but the complaint was reported directly to the hotel.
