“Smelly Nelly”
The room is pleasantly decorated, and the patio is lovely. The location is also ideal. The odor coming from the bathroom made it hard to stay in the room, especially during peak daytime hours; the heat and the smell together were nauseating. The room has no windows that can be opened for fresh air, so leaving the door open seemed to be the only temporary relief. Keeping the bathroom door closed had no effect on the smell. I wonder if reed diffusers in the bathroom and over the bed would help. Another major issue is that all rooms face the courtyard. The courtyard lights run on a timer that turns them off before quiet hours, but if a guest with no respect for others turns them back on, no one is there to stop them. The lights cannot be turned off after that, forcing you to sleep with the lights glaring into your room all night. If something happens in the middle of the night, no one is there to resolve it.
