“A nature lovers dream”
The farm was gorgeous, ideal for walking and soaking in nature. Lots of birds, a tiny island in the pond surrounded by reeds and trees—perfect for birdwatchers.

It was close to the event I was attending, but it did not have hotel‑style comfort.

The owners gave a personal touch and the scenery was exactly what I needed for a grounded, nature‑backed escape, and they welcomed my dogs as warmly as the humans.

The garden view was nice, but we were handed the wrong room—though we had booked and paid for a double, we received two single beds. The staff were hostile and unfriendly, even fighting with us; a male employee shoved me when I tried to open the door, called me names, and hit my husband. Our car key fell out of his hand and the casing broke. We called Tulbagh police, who intervened and we were offered a place to stay that night. The experience offered no value for money, and we will never return.

The farm’s remoteness was perfect, and I enjoyed everything—exactly what I was looking for.
