“Kaputte Klimaanlage, Kakerlaken, keine Hilfsbereitschaft”

The staff were friendly and the hotel’s central location made it easy to get around. Unfortunately, at check‑in we were told the air‑conditioning was broken and given the choice to stay in a 40 °C room or keep looking – all other hotels were fully booked, and we received no discount or advance warning. To top it off we discovered cockroaches in the room and a foul smell in the stairwell, so we were glad to leave as soon as possible.

“Just meant to feel welcome”

The hotel serves a decent range of breakfasts from the attached lounge and restaurant, and although it sits right in front of the main square the noise settled down enough for a good night’s sleep. I hadn’t planned on staying in Bijeljina, but ended up enjoying it so much I wouldn’t consider any other place on the return trip. The staff seemed a bit surprised to see me, yet most people spoke English or could find someone who did within seconds.

Breakfast was abundant and tasty, and the location was excellent. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

I booked two rooms, got a confirmation and even called ahead with our arrival time, but when we arrived the receptionist was rude and told us there were no rooms available, apparently without checking the online reservation. Their lack of professionalism and unreliability was evident, and we left feeling very frustrated. I would advise other travelers to steer clear of this place.

“Prisvärt och bra, kommer definitivt boka igen!”

The room was nicely decorated, cozy, clean and right in the centre – great value for the price. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, but the restaurant next door had very slow, unhelpful service and the breakfast information was vague. Overall a decent stay if you can overlook the restaurant’s shortcomings.
