Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park

“Comfortable stay in historic mansion. Everything you need is here!”

The historic building was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and it was quiet. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The pool and gym were also good. Free access to the old mansion next door was really interesting, and the gardens were lovely to explore. The only odd thing was that the bed wasn’t made very well, probably just a one‑off oversight.

“Location was great and a beautiful building but disappointed that we had workers right at the window early in the mornin”

The location, breakfast and staff were great, but the room was small. The bedding felt too warm and in the morning a crane was right outside our window on the top floor, working on the roof.

“Lovely accommodation in beautiful historic buildings.”

We really enjoyed our last‑minute stay at Lancemore, Werribee Park. We arrived later in the evening, but still managed to play a couple of rounds of snooker on the huge table in the foyer. I had read a few reviews online before booking. Yes, the beds are soft, but we slept well. Yes, the rooms are small, but they’re comfortable and cosy. Yes, the buffet breakfast might not have a massive spread, but it definitely offers ample choices like many other hotels. We couldn’t complain! We had to be somewhere the next morning, but we returned in the afternoon for our complimentary tour of the Mansion. The garden and grounds were so peaceful, even though it seemed quite busy. Our lunch in the Parlour Cafe was delicious and the tour of the mansion was great. I don’t think I can fault anything.

“Was ok for a getaway. But disappointed with price and the room”

The dinner was amazing, but the room feels a little dated, the bed end is chipped, and the shower doesn’t drain. The room and bathroom are very small. The price was a lot for what you get. I tried calling the hotel number several times and couldn’t get through.
