The cats and the location were great. Kakopetria is beautiful. The check‑in was very impersonal. As soon as we arrived, there was no one, no message, nothing. After a long time calling, they finally answered the phone and directly told us where our room was.

The lodge’s location is perfect, and the contact with the host is simple and uncomplicated. The breakfast was also good. Unfortunately, we were housed in different buildings: a very nice, spacious room right in the lodge, and a second, very small room a bit outside Old Kakopetria, about 200 meters away.

Authentic, rustic lodging full of charm and impeccable cleanliness. Check‑in was hassle‑free, breakfast was simple but more than enough for the price. I stayed in the annex, so the evening bustle in the old town hardly reached me. The old town is easily reachable on foot through narrow lanes. Overall, great value for money. The windows and balcony door didn’t seal completely, letting mosquitoes slip in through the relatively large gaps. Installing window screens would be a sensible improvement. A mosquito repellent sticker is therefore recommended.

The location is very good and the spaces are large. The staff are absent; they leave a sheet with a WhatsApp number for when you arrive to write or call, but they don’t respond for hours afterward.
