The venue is very beautiful and pleasant to live in; the shared kitchen is also very convenient. I don’t mind that the doors operate a bit oddly (the key‑based system), and the hot water in the shower was somewhat unstable, probably due to the weather. Overall, these issues are minor compared to the positives of the place.

Being close to the city yet surrounded by nature was nice, and swimming in the river behind the property was a highlight. The room was pleasant, the bathroom was good, and the staff were friendly. I appreciated the ability to cook for myself and having a quiet fridge in the room—important if you want to bring home chocolate without it melting. I loved the simple nets over the windows, letting the jungle sounds in. The downside was that staff were sanding the gate to the property daily, which made it a bit hard to relax. Once I didn’t receive bread with breakfast even though I had it every other day, and when I asked, I was told there was none—odd. Eventually, a staff member returned with some bread, so it was resolved, just a bit confusing.

The breakfast was tailored to my specific dietary needs, the large lounge had a kitchen for self‑cooking, and the quiet riverside location was perfect; the family ran the place, sending me restaurant, excursion and event tips via WhatsApp beforehand, and there was a paid laundry service.
