Saturday night dinner club was excellent, the breakfast nook was a great idea, and the rooms were very comfortable.

I cannot recommend The Yarra higher; Sonya and the property made me feel at home, the room was gorgeous, the house cozy, and it’s the quintessential Catskills B&B—stay here if you’re in the area.

The Yarra is a charming boutique hotel featuring a great elevated continental breakfast, complete with homemade egg croquettes, locally sourced bagels and pastries, fresh fruit, a variety of coffee and tea, juice, organic milk, and granola. While the bedroom was small, it was comfortable for a short stay. The bathroom was stocked with thoughtful personal accessories, including toothbrushes, shaving kits, deodorant and hair ties. Additionally, the location is very convenient and within walking distance of local eateries, a distillery, numerous shops and only about a 30-minute drive to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

The self‑serve breakfast from the fridge offered a solid variety of items, and the on‑site staff were friendly and gave a clear explanation of the property. The small size of the hotel made for a quiet, peaceful stay, though the rooms felt efficient yet cramped, and the price seemed high for the location.
