“Não vale o preço cobrado. Acima do mercado”
Almost nothing to praise here – the room reeked of mildew, a swarm of mosquitoes kept buzzing around, and the mattress was rock‑hard.

The spot is convenient, but the bed was far from comfortable; the mattress felt like a slab of wood.

The only thing that’s actually decent is the fact that it’s right on the beach, but everything else turned our birthday celebration into a disaster. We paid R$300 a night and were met with a rude night‑shift receptionist who didn’t even answer my mother’s good‑night, a room that smelled of old, worn furniture, hair in the hand towel, a moldy pillowcase, damp walls, a broken toilet seat, and no hangers in the closet.

The rooms give you a lot of privacy, which is nice, but the place is far from Itaparica’s center, making it a bit of a trek to get anywhere.

This guesthouse is charming and the staff are fantastic – Waldir gave us great local tips and even helped when I left my glasses behind. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to come back.
