“A gem in Kvareli”
I was blown away by every detail: Leila and Dimitri welcomed us with such warmth, the room fit our needs perfectly, and the grounds were simply beautiful. The pool was a welcome relief on that scorching day. We signed up for the cooking masterclass and it’s a must‑try; we learned to make khinkali and khacherpuri with patient guidance and a translator, and we laughed a lot. Dimitri kept the wine flowing with his own red and a splash of chacha that was divine. After we finished, Leila stored the leftovers in her fridge for us to grab for dinner in Juta. We were lucky to have a decent break before our pork BBQ dinner, complete with traditional salads, stuffed aubergine, cheese, and fresh fruit. The next morning’s breakfast was delicious—eggs, potato croquets, cheese, salad, honey, and coffee—before we said our emotional goodbyes. Leaving was the only downside!
