The spot is great, but the restaurant up there keeps the noise level high, and an engine or sump pump in the wall starts up every hour. The rooms were clean enough, yet the bed was awful and the pillows were terrible.

The bed was comfy, and there was a working TV and AC. The bar/restaurant above served decent food, and the two rooms facing the main street had patios, plus a mini fridge and microwave worked well. However, the place is a basement conversion under a bar & restaurant, facing an alley, and the noise from the bar above kicks off at 9:00 am and continues until 11:00 pm. Trash trucks come through the alley at 6:30 am, and there are no screens on the alley-facing windows to keep bugs out. Room 7, the “Boat” room, is the size of a sleeper‑car room; the mini sink and toilet are in the shower, with only a partial curtain. There’s nowhere to store toiletries or clothes, and the strong smell of cleaning chemicals was bad.

I stayed in the Boat Room (Room 7) and found the check‑in process and room cleaning to be excellent. Unfortunately, the noise from Nomads Canteen above was unbearable, making it outrageous to charge $150 a night for such a cramped space. The “bathroom,” separated by a shower curtain, measured only about 1 m by 1.5 m and combined shower, toilet, and sink, and the toilet flush was broken, forcing me to turn off the water supply. Sorry, but a room like that shouldn’t be offered to guests for $150.

2 complimentary drinks for the bar up stairs. Good vibes and meet new people. Room always was replaced with fresh towels and clean when I was out for the day. Not far from the beach. A lot of restaurants and shopping spots around. N/A
