When the Uber taxi dropped me off, the sign only read “Hotel tara villa,” so I thought I had been taken to the wrong place. I called and told them I was at the gate in front of “Hotel tara villa,” but the conversation didn’t go through, so I gave up and looked for another hotel.

Nothing. This has been a big mistake. I have been cheated by showing this pathetic place as a 5star rated property while it deserves negative star for shady rooms and location. It is a small hole in the wall lodge with just 6 rooms and no amenities at all. First of all the rooms are cramped and walls are dirty. The hotel is being run by just 1 person who has bad attitude. Walls are dirty and linens are even dirtier. Bed is hard and pillows are non existent. Staff denied us fresh towels on day 2 sighting rainy season as reason where's I could see many fresh towels just lying unused in the linen cupboard and there was no other guest in the hotel. The entry to the hotel is thru a ice cream shop which itself was a concern but since we had reached at midnight there was no other option to go and staff asked us to pay full amount at the time of check in itself. This has been the worst staying experience for myself and my family

The room matched the price: it was large, very clean, and the washroom was also spotless. The hotel staff were friendly and polite, and staying here felt safe and private. Overall, everything was high quality.
