The place sits quietly near the zoo de Beauval and St Aignan, and the pool is nice. The living areas in the cabin are comfortable, but the bedding leaves something to be desired—some mattresses lack slats, and the upper floor of the big house has no air‑conditioning, which is a pain during hot days.

We stayed just under 10 minutes from the Beauval zoo with a direct entrance, and the pool was a lifesaver in that heat. The two houses offered plenty of space between them for sleeping arrangements and the outdoor areas were really pleasant. Our four‑day visit was fantastic and we’ll definitely come back for the next Beauval trip. The only downside was the lack of dishes in both houses; with only five of us it was manageable, but a full occupancy would have left us short of bowls, glasses and some plates.

We stayed in a spacious, comfortable gîte with five bedrooms set in a quiet countryside, enjoying a large, beautiful outdoor area that included a child‑safe pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna, all kept clean, and it was very easy to reach the Beauval zoo.

The cleaning was pretty subpar, and we were missing a lot of essentials like dishes and utensils, which made cooking a real challenge. It was just a bit of a hassle, and we had to make do with what we had.

The gîte was really well-equipped, and the directions to get there were super clear, thanks to the photos. However, there were a few things that needed attention - the coffee machine was on the fritz, some of the light bulbs were out, and the bedroom doors didn't close properly. And while most of the beds were really comfy, one of them was a bit of a dud.
