We were given a room that wasn’t clean, then swapped to another that was also dirty—every issue we encountered was a new problem.

The room offered a pleasant view of the duck pond, great for early morning meditation, and the landscaping was well kept. The Jacuzzi was enjoyable, and the restaurant served decent happy‑hour snacks. Getting to the freeway and Black Bear Diner across the street was easy, and several strip malls nearby offered many dining choices. However, the bathroom sink was poorly designed, causing water to splash over the counter each time, the faucet had very low pressure, and the room lighting could have been better.

The location, staff, and facilities were good, but trying to book an unexpected second night—whether online or by phone—was impossible and very frustrating.
