“Tired”

The downstairs restaurant area was stylish and expansive, and the breakfast was delivered on time. The water pressure in the shower in our room was good. Our room was tiny, with the sink area open to the room. Although the shower and toilet were in separate closets, they were very close and open to the sleeping area. The carpet was badly worn in places and the floorboards underneath were sunken. Frankly, the whole room felt shabby and in need of some love. For example, the drawers in the cupboard were sticky to open, and the light in the toilet cabinet was dim. We stayed at the end of August. Room #7 was a little tired, maybe after a long summer? It was disappointing because Cap Ferret is such a beautiful location.

“Chic & comfortable but needs more consistent execution”

The room was beautifully decorated, yet the daily cleaning missed a day, which is unacceptable given the price; the food was decent but not spectacular.
