What I liked most was the moment I handed over the key! I booked a room that said it had a bathtub, but the room we stayed in had none, and the room on the other side of the street was given only an access card, no door key. We left and when we came back we were stuck outside; later a staff member gave us a card that had a key!

I liked the spot—it's in a pretty street right next to woods and nature. The vibe feels homey and friendly. The younger staff are a little less pleasant than the older ones, but overall it’s fine. The price‑quality ratio is solid, especially for those who want to sleep outside Amsterdam’s center without ending up in a highway‑adjacent area that feels bland. I’ve booked twice and would gladly return. The downside is that the young staff (not the others) don’t seem invested or concerned about the welcome.

Across the street is a Lidl supermarket, opposite a famous bakery, and the restaurant and the rock‑and‑roll weekend events are all here. A 27‑euro taxi gets you to the airport. It’s a great spot for weekend or business trips.
