We had a wonderful stay at the Glifa Hotel and were really impressed overall. Of course, as a 2‑star hotel you can’t expect luxury – we knew that. What mattered more to us was a beautiful location, cleanliness, friendliness and great value for money. The spot is simply dreamy, right on the lovely beach. The beach itself is excellent and especially pleasant: loungers and umbrellas are free. The pool is very clean and surprisingly generous for a hotel of this size. Breakfast is simple but perfectly fine and absolutely appropriate for a 2‑star place. The restaurant is nicely located and also offers good food at fairly low prices. The owner deserves special praise: very warm, friendly and attentive. You feel welcome from the start and almost like friends. Overall, a very successful stay and a clear recommendation. If you’re not looking for luxury but want a nice location, great beach, cleanliness, hospitality and excellent value, this is the place.
