The owners were incredibly kind, the hotel spotless, rooms gorgeous and fully equipped with every comfort.
“Beautifully renovated and perfectly located, but disappointing service”
The hotel looks stunning after its renovation and sits in a perfect spot, but the hostess’s reaction to our request for a second bedsheet ruined the experience. We were traveling with a friend and asked for an extra sheet; she laughed and said it would cost €10, claiming it was because we had a double instead of a twin. In reality the “double” was just two small single beds pushed together with a gap in the middle, so it wouldn’t have been practical for two people anyway. The fact that separate bedding would depend on whether guests are a couple or friends felt very unreasonable and spoiled what could have been a very positive stay.
