The room turned out to be huge compared to the pictures, the property boasts lovely gardens, and John the host was excellent at communicating and helping out. The indoor braai came fully stocked with firelighters and wood, making it perfect for our weekend stay.

We adored staying at the pool house; the host was very friendly and responsive, the gardens and views were stunning, and the location was central and walkable. The pizza oven was fantastic, and we slept soundly in the comfortable bed within a peaceful setting.

The host and staff were friendly, the large room was very clean and offered plenty of space, and the quiet location featured a beautiful garden. A microwave would have been handy for reheating food and drinks, but otherwise the place was well equipped with everything needed for an indoor braai, a kettle, a toaster, and an electric frying pan.

The facilities were fantastic—clean and stocked with a variety of food and drinks, even a bottle of wine. The toilet was clean, the shower had large bottles of gel, shampoo, and soap, and there was a fireplace for a cozy fire, plus a BBQ (braai) area. Free supplies of wood and starter wood were also provided.

This spot offers everything and more for a weekend getaway. Above all, the host was incredibly humble and made us feel right at home. In our view, you get more than what you pay for.
