The staff’s kindness in letting us have breakfast outside of the usual time, even though it was already finished, allowed us to eat without any problems; climbing many stairs, haha, but that’s part of the Valparaíso magic.

The service was excellent, very attentive, the beds were comfortable and very clean, the bathrooms were many, functional and renovated—just enough and precise for a pleasant rest, and I would repeat the stay. Personally, the spaces are historic and beautiful; I would have liked a bit more cleaning in the hallways and common areas, the furniture is expected to be old but I would have liked to see more overall cleanliness; the sofas clearly show their age and look bad. I hope this isn’t taken as criticism but as a suggestion, because the hostel itself was to my liking.

The hostel’s location was spot on and super easy to get to. However, when we tried to check in, there was a mix‑up with the rooms, so we had to wait a long time to sort it out.

Everything was fantastic: the location, the staff, the surroundings, the breakfasts, the facilities, the comfy beds, and the good equipment. This is the third time I’ve stayed in the apartment and I’ll definitely book again. Nothing else to mention!
