I had a solid stay thanks to the availability and the quiet residential location just outside Reading, with easy car or bus links. The room was clean and a decent size, and the kitchen and dining area came with cutlery, a few free ingredients, and a spotless fridge. The toilet and bathroom were separate but both clean and functional. I especially liked the complimentary cereal, juice, and coffee in the bedroom—helped me rush out for work. The long‑life milk wasn’t for me, though. The only drawbacks were the lack of a wall‑mounted mirror in either the bathroom or toilet, and the electronic passcode lock on the room door was a bit temperamental—sometimes it took several attempts to unlock.
