“Très bien.”
The host’s passion for Jeanne d’Arc statues was impressive; everything else was very good. The 140 cm bed was a bit too small for us!

The bedding was poor, the mattress was only passable, and the slatted frame was set up on a makeshift wooden base that was unstable; the proper positioning should have been checked before we arrived. It’s not the guests’ job to fix that. The value for money isn’t right; we’re paying a price that a city hotel with much higher comfort would offer. The historical setting of the place doesn’t excuse these shortcomings.

Very friendly. We even managed to buy ravioli and wine because the restaurants had no table for us.

Friendly host and wife. They speak good English (I speak poor French 😉). The property itself has a rich historical background that the host loves to talk about. I like this kind of place. The cats in the garden were also a favorite with our two children. The mattress was hard and not suitable for someone 180 cm or taller. I’m only 160 cm and even my feet hit the back of the bed.
