The place is clean and very quiet, a good spot to unwind and relax, and they even throw in a complimentary bottle of alcohol, but there is no restaurant inside the premises.

We got engaged on the morning of our stay at Masasana's Rest, and when we arrived we were amazed to find the room beautifully decorated; my fiancée thought I had arranged everything myself, which was such a thoughtful touch that made the already special day even more memorable; the accommodation was excellent, the room comfortable and well‑maintained, and the hospitality exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable; the location is a bonus—only about 20 minutes from the Kruger National Park Phabeni Gate—making it the perfect base for exploring the park; thank you to everyone at Masasana's Rest for helping make such an important milestone in our lives even more special; we highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I loved the view most, but the fact that there's no reception or cafeteria is a downside.

The location of the place was very nice, but everything was old and shabby; the bathroom doors don’t close properly and the curtains hang half off the wall; the stay smelled very musty; the bed slept well; the host was friendly, but overall the stay was below our expectations.
