The accommodation is in a great spot and fairly clean, but the breakfast is weak, the hotel’s air‑conditioning doesn’t work, and although the hotel claims rooms have AC, they don’t; the AC is non‑functional, the bathroom is under‑equipped, a socket is missing, and there are no hooks.

The views throughout the hotel were wonderful, the staff were attentive and efficient, the beds were comfortable and the terrace practical, and the location was perfect with a pool exit almost at the beach and the port on the other side; the bathroom had a bit of maintenance issues, the toilet lid was cheap, the video was not working, and the breakfast was repetitive but not bad.

“Um desastre a todos os níveis”

The only good thing was the seaside location; there aren’t many options in Vilafranca; almost everything went wrong: access is via a steep ramp, you can’t turn around, so you have to reverse out of a very narrow corridor (and there are almost no parking spots); there are no trolleys, carts, or staff help for heavy luggage; the hotel is a mess, even in sustainability terms (lights stayed on all night and into the morning); the neighboring water park had nightly parties with loud music past midnight; the front desk staff were confrontational and told me to be quiet right when I arrived; when I complained, the reply was “What were you expecting? It’s a 3‑star hotel.”

“Experiência Mãe e Filha”

The area was calm, quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The décor was fantastic, rustic and impeccably maintained, and every space carried a pleasant scent. The pool was small but ideal for the hotel’s exterior, creating a very nice atmosphere, and getting to the beach was quick and easy. I loved the room’s balcony—a super comfortable spot to relax. However, the room lacked a minibar, a bar, and any restaurant service for lunch or dinner. The TV in my room didn’t work and had no remote. The bathroom only had one roll of toilet paper. When I pulled the bed linens, there were long black hairs on the sheets. There was no phone in the room. I was told breakfast ran from 7:30 am to 11 am, but by 10 am a staff lady shut the breakfast hall door, showing a rude lack of patience to keep serving. The parking lot couldn’t accommodate all guests’ cars, so walking to the reception with luggage was very uncomfortable.

“Hotel com muito potencial, a necessitar de algumas reparações.”

The hotel’s location and sea view were great, with direct access to the marina and a stunning sunrise. It lacked air conditioning and an elevator. Common areas, especially the breakfast room windows, needed more care and cleanliness, and the locks on the room doors and wardrobes were poorly maintained.
