The location in the Neustadt is spot‑on, everything is a short walk away; more rugs in the bathroom would add warmth.

The blanket smells fresh, the bathroom is clean, the spot is close to nightlife, easy to find food, and it’s not noisy. You can make friends at the hostel, there’s a free shared box, and the shared concept is great!

Friendly reception staff, spotless bathrooms and nice beds, lockers can be locked. It isn’t a hostel issue, but expect street noise on weekends, especially Friday nights.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful all the time; everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and it’s close to the train station. I got a room facing the street, so there was noise until the early morning. Note that the reception is on the first floor, and your room might be in a different part of the building, meaning you’d have to go down and then back up; I remember there was an elevator but I’m not sure if it works.
