The room was decent and offered a good price for a place to sleep, but being old, it had a lot of dust behind the nightstand, no reachable bedside outlets, old holes in the bathroom walls, cracks at the bottom of the door, dust and dirt in the corners, hair in the shower, and a few hairs in the sheets under the bedding. The pillowcases looked a bit dingy and there was an unpleasant smell. Overall, I wasn’t comfortable there at all; I slept there and left as soon as possible.

The room was dirty, with smokers hanging out at the bottom of the stairs; I had to ask them to move so I could use the stairs. The sheets hadn’t even been changed from the previous guest—horrible!

The location and overall design were fine, but the carpet looks decades old and doesn’t cover the floor wall‑to‑wall. Near the sink there’s a spot where your socks literally stick. There was only one nightstand on one side of the bed, and there’s no sound insulation between rooms, so I was woken up by neighboring guests having a normal conversation in the middle of the night. The whole place could use a refresh.

The room door was damaged and didn’t feel safe; I switched to another room, but the front‑desk clerk didn’t care when I mentioned it.
